I do not want to get into the messy discussion that led to this decision as i don't care for anything but the technical aspect here. Conduwuit was the most promising Matrix server implementation available and this outcome let me annoyed and pissed. Trusting a Matrix server is critical because there is no real migration approach between them, and so "moving" to a new server is a serious business and not an easy task.
